Why Apply?
Since introducing the initiative in 2024, the ICHOM Patient Scholarship Fund has raised over $70,000 and supported 73 patients to attend the conference in Amsterdam. Thanks to this, patient representation more than doubled.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from:
- Individuals with lived experience as patients or carers
- Representatives of patient advocacy organisations
- Those affiliated with LMIC-based patient, research, or non-profit healthcare entities
Applicants must also demonstrate:
- A clear interest in outcomes measurement and improvement
- Experience working with clinical or research partners on healthcare outcomes
- Leadership or involvement in advocacy efforts
- A strong motivation for attending and learning from ICHOM 2026
Please note: this initiative is not open to employees of pharmaceutical or medical device companies.
What Support Is Available?
Depending on your location and application, you may receive:
Complimentary or discounted registration (Standard Patient Pass valued at $650)
Additional funding may be offered based on financial need and distance to the event. All travel support is provided in US dollars.
