ICHOM Patient Scholarship

Applications Open for ICHOM 2026

Be part of the movement shaping value-based healthcare.

ICHOM is committed to amplifying the voices of patients, caregivers, and advocates in the global conversation on health outcomes. Our Patient Scholarship Fund exists to help remove barriers to participation at the ICHOM 2026 Conference, taking place 7-9 December in Montreal, Canada.

Whether you’re a patient, family member, carer, or advocate—especially from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs)—we encourage you to apply for support with travel and registration through our Patient Scholarship Programme. Applications will close 17 September 2026.

Why Apply?

Since introducing the initiative in 2024, the ICHOM Patient Scholarship Fund has raised over $70,000 and supported 73 patients to attend the conference in Amsterdam. Thanks to this, patient representation more than doubled.

Applicants must also demonstrate:

  • A clear interest in outcomes measurement and improvement
  • Experience working with clinical or research partners on healthcare outcomes
  • Leadership or involvement in advocacy efforts
  • A strong motivation for attending and learning from ICHOM 2026

Please note: this initiative is not open to employees of pharmaceutical or medical device companies.
