The People’s Choice Award at ICHOM 2024 went to W. Jorritsma, C.W.H. de Fijter, H.J.M. Rutten, D. Zuijderduijn, and A. Vermeulen for their outstanding research on The Home Dialysis App for Peritoneal Dialysis: An Evaluation of Outcomes and Patient Experience – OLVG.
This innovative study showcased how digital health solutions can enhance patient care, improve outcomes, and empower individuals managing peritoneal dialysis. Voted for by our global community, this recognition highlights the power of patient-centered research in driving real change.
The prestigious annual ICHOM-NEJM Catalyst Implementation Prize, which was awarded to Arthur Pille, Jonas Wolf, Jucara Gasparetto Maccari, Helena Petek, Sheila Martins, Daniela Dornelles Rosa, Mohamed Parrini Mutlaq, Luis Antônio Nasi, and Carisi A Polanczyk.
Their groundbreaking research, “Seven years’ experience of ICHOM Standard Set implementation in a private hospital in Brazil: lessons learned and future perspective,” was selected as the winning abstract by NEJM Catalyst following a thorough review of all submissions by our judging panel of esteemed healthcare leaders.
