The goal of the VBHC Prize is to recognize, celebrate, and inspire everybody and to show the most unique and promising VBHC initiatives of the year. Delivering excellent patient value is more important than ever nowadays. With the rising healthcare costs, Value-Based Health Care (VBHC) offers a way to create a more sustainable healthcare system. Currently, there are a tremendous amount of initiatives who are successful and still growing in the field of VBHC and creating patient value.
This year the seventh edition of the VBHC will be organized. The VBHC community will come together to celebrate and recognize the great improvements made in regards to VBHC. During this festive event we pay attention to innovations that work and move the needle in the field of VBHC. Each year, the amount and quality of applications increases. This year it will be even more challenging than ever for the jury to select the nominees for the VBHC Prize 2020. The Value-Based Health Care Prize welcomes an international jury composed of key healthcare experts and academics, among others: Prof. Robert S. Kaplan, PhD, Prof. Elizabeth Teisberg, PhD, Christina Åkerman, MD, PhD, MBA, Prof. Leonard Friedman, PhD, MPH and the honorary chairman Prof. Michael E. Porter.
The Value-Based Health Care Center Europe is glad to announce that the winner of the VBHC Prize in 2020 will be awarded a VIP presentation slot on the main stage at the ICHOM 2020 Conference in Barcelona on 18th-20th of May.
