Shirali has over 12 years’ experience as a healthcare management professional. She brings end-to-end experience from concept generation to commercialisation of value-based healthcare models and out-of-hospital models in Europe, Middle East, North America and Asia. Before her current role as a VBHC Program Lead at Medtronic, Shirali worked as a healthcare management consultant with Deloitte Singapore focusing on the South East Asian region working alongside government agencies on optimising affordability, accessibility, and quality issues in acute and long-term care sector.
With Medtronic in Switzerland, Shirali led the development of blueprint and implementation of the “Diabeter” model in the Netherlands and Middle East. She further worked on codifying and productizing varied digital healthcare delivery models in Cardiology and Diabetes over the past years. She also led real world TDABC implementation projects together with Harvard Business School for assessment of care pathway cost elements towards the creation of robust bundles for payer negotiations in Europe.
Shirali is also leading a value based payments community at World Economic Forum as part of her fellowship with the Healthcare platform; wherein she has been convening 30+ healthcare experts from around the world over 12 months to brainstorm, assimilate best practices, key learnings and insights on how to further scale up and accelerate the adoption of VBHC principles.
