Mor Dickman, MD PhD
Mor Dickman, MD PhD is co-chair of the ESCRS registries (European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons): EUREQUO (European Registry of Quality Outcomes in Cataract and Refractive Surgery), ECCTR (European Cornea and Cell Transplantation Registry) and EURECCA (European Registry of Childhood Cataract Surgery). With more than three million records collected from sixteen countries, the ESCRS Registries are among the most prominent digital health projects in ophthalmology. On a national level, Mor Dickman chairs the NTS (Dutch Transplant Foundation) NOTR cornea transplantation registry and is a board member of the Dutch Ophthalmology Society Registries.
His clinical research focuses on improving outcomes for patients with corneal diseases and cataract. He specializes in (registry-based) randomised controlled trials and population-based registry studies. In addition to his clinical work, Mor Dickman co-leads a research group on corneal regeneration at the MERLN Institute for Technology Inspired Regenerative Medicine.
