Dr. Bishnu Panigrahi, M.D

Dr Bishnu Panigrahi, M.D., currently serves as the Group Head for Medical Strategy and Operations at Fortis Healthcare, one of the largest healthcare service delivery providers in India. His long and seasoned career touches distinct aspects in Medicine, including 12 years in Academics followed by leadership roles in Clinical Anesthesiology and Healthcare Administration.

With a keen interest in Value Based Healthcare, Dr Panigrahi spearheaded the implementation of ICHOM standard sets for Coronary Artery Disease at Fortis Healthcare and made it among the first institutes in India to report and monitor Clinical Outcomes. Fortis Healthcare was the only Indian member of ICHOM Working Group which prepared these standard sets. He has also been a key member in the design and commissioning of multiple Greenfield and Brownfield hospitals across India.  

 Dr Panigrahi is an Anesthetist by training with post-doctoral specialization in Cardiac & Neuro Anesthesiology and Critical Care.
