Anupam Dayal, MPH has worked on topics of Patient Safety and Health Economics from the beginning of her young career. She worked in India for non-profits in an effort to streamline Annual Fund-Receipt from the Central government to small villages as part of the Community Based Planning and Monitoring (CBPM) at SAATHI-CEHAT. She has led global initiatives to address Patient Safety topics of Medication Reconciliation, Correct-Site Surgery Checklist and Concentrated Injectables as part of the AHRQ funded project called- HIGH 5s with the World Health Organization. She has recently been part of educating and implementing patient safety standards around the world while she was at Joint Commission International (JCI). Anupam has been part of the Value-Based Health training at the Harvard Business School, and is now at the American College of Surgeons part of a team which is create a scalable and useful model of VBH for hospitals, payors, patients and providers.
