Networking at the Virtual Congress 2020

We have added some fantastic networking features to our already impressive online platform offering you a more immersive and interactive experience, as well as helping you stay in touch with your community and create new contacts.

ON24 Platform

We are using the ON24 platform for the main sessions in the conference.

It is a simple tool which looks amazing and offers a great user experience. All our sessions will be available in the ON24 hub and you will find all the recordings from previous sessions in there too.

Networking Lounges

We will be opening networking lounges during Days 1, 2 & 3 themed by different Standard Set groups.

This will allow you to visit the relevant networking lounge and meet delegates with shared interests. The networking lounges will be held in Zoom and you will have the opportunity to turn your camera and mic on. Please check the agenda for more details on the Standard Set Groups included.

Chat Forum and Networking Platform

We are excited to announce that ICHOM Connect will be our Networking Chat Forum for the ICHOM November Congress.

You will be able to connect with fellow delegates ahead of, during and after our November event. Ensure you join the ICHOM Conference Series 2020 Group in ICHOM Connect to keep up to date with Conference related news and to start your networking ahead of the event. Over the coming days and weeks we will be inviting you to suggest discussion points and submit questions for specific sessions in the November event – look out for the posts.

Session Format

Plenary Sessions

Plenary Sessions will be hosted by ON24 in a webinar format, delegates will be able to submit questions via text using the Q&A feature and will be able to connect with fellow audience members via the Group Chat feature.

Concurrent Stream Sessions

Concurrent Stream Sessions will be hosted by Zoom in a webinar format, delegates will be able to submit questions via text using the Q&A feature – some may be invited to join the presenters on screen to pose their question (if they wish). Audience members will be able to communicate with one another via the Group Chat feature.

Workshop Sessions

Workshop Sessions will be hosted by Zoom in an interactive format, incorporating breakout room segments. Delegates will be able to submit questions via text using the Q&A feature – some may be invited to join the presenters on screen to pose their question (if they wish). Audience members will be able to communicate with one another via the Group Chat feature.
