Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) Canada is a Conference Board of Canada-led initiative that brings together leaders in government, health administration, research, industry, clinical practice and patient advocacy to discuss and develop collaborative projects driving value-based health care innovation.

VBHC Canada is currently working with four diabetes care programs in Ontario to evaluate the appropriateness of a value-based healthcare approach for organizing care delivery and measuring outcomes for integrated programs designed to improve limb preservation among patients with diabetes. The information gathered will be used to develop a standardized value-based framework for optimizing foot care pathways.
