The Vall d’Hebron University Hospital was founded in 1952. Today it is one of the largest hospitals in Spain and it has successfully adopted a VBHC approach. The session will discuss the methodology used for successfully transforming care pathways to a VBHC model, and the importance of mutual understanding of the value in healthcare between professionals, patients, families as well as the broader community.
